It is an amazing novel and so much to learn...I just wonder if the really talked that way, if it was normal for the time to use that type of language or was it Roa Bastos way to describe the Dictator? Is the most complex one wrote by Roa Bastos, but the best on my opinion. If you want to try something easier and lighter, try "Cuentos Completos" (which I am currently reading) or "Hijo de Hombre". I believe none can give an idea of Paraguay as Roa Bastos does. Enjoy it. Is such a cool book, but a really difficult one. Is the most complex one wrote by Roa Bastos, but the best on my opinion.
