Learn Spanish with me =)
I always said that the best way to get around Paraguay is to learn a bit Spanish before your trip, or during it or after it (if you want to get back). People there don’t speak English, they will try to understand you, just in case I created this system so you can learn the basics before you arrive there.
First I find it totally necessary you to learn the persons:
1st person = YO, I
2nd person= TU or Vos = You
3rd person = El, Ella = her she
1st plural person- Nosotros= we
2nd plural person- Vosotros= you plural
3er plural person- Ellos= They
Once you learn this you can start with the basic conjugations which are:
Ser (to be) Estar (to be), Tener (have), Salir (exit)- Those are the most important forms of conjugations with verbs that end with “ar”, “er” and “ir”, and the irregular verb Ser (to be) (that has his unique type of conjugation)
Present: Past: Future
Yo soy, estoy, tengo, salgo fui, estuve, tenia, sali sere, estare, tendre, saldre
Tu eres, estas, tienes, sales fuiste, estuviste, tenias, saliste seras, estaras, tendras, saldras
El es, esta, tiene, sale fue, estuvo, tenia, salio sera, estara, tendra, saldra
Nosotros somos, estamos, tenemos , salimos fuimos, estuvimos, teniamos, salimos seremos, estaremos, tendremos, saldremos
Vosotros sois,, estais, teneis
(we don’t use the vosotros version in south america) instead we use USTEDES and conjugate in 3 person plural.
Ellos son, estan, tienen, salen fueron, estuvieron, tenian, salieron seran, estaran, tendran, saldran
Now that you know that…I will teach you some useful fraises and words
