Dear Muna,
LOVE all your posts! My question is: will you share your recipe for chipa guazu? I stood by my mother-in-law's friend (in Asuncion--a most fantastic cook) while she cooked (of course without a recipe) and wrote down everything she did, but I can't seem to get it just right back here at home. My husband says it's good (and it really has a nice taste--I use mozzarella cheese since I can't get the other), but I just can't get the right amount of liquid/corn, etc. right so it's really soupy. I don't cut my corn off the cob and then grind it like she did (!) but have tried creamed corn and also tried canned corn I processed in my food processer. Any help with a "real" recipe would be really appreciated! Thanks so much! Have a nice day! Kathy

Muna!
It looked like you had a fantastic group! How wonderful of you to organize it. This is one time that even though they tell me Seattle weather is terrible (as I can attest to all the sweaters and jackets in the group) I would have absolutely loved to have been there.
Chipitas, terere, asado, sopa paraguaya, chipa guazu???? No diet would have stopped me to have eaten everything in site!
Hope to meet you soon,
Lidia
